MAKING ROOM IS A PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE THAT INVITES PEOPLE TO SLOW DOWN AND REFLECT.

FOR THE INAUGURAL SESSION, WE GAVE ROOM TO 5 WOMEN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCES WITH UTERINE FIBROIDS, JUST IN TIME FOR FIBROID AWARENESS MONTH.

“What are you making room for?”

Life experiences sculpt who we become, and no force transforms us more than the challenges we endure. But it’s not the hardship alone, it’s how we meet it. Do we retreat and shrink ourselves? Do we surrender our identity? Or do we confront the obstacle with resolve and claim the growth that follows?

As a woman who has faced the battle of uterine fibroids, I am committed to building spaces where people can confront their choices about how they show up, with honesty, without shame, and with power. My intention is to dismantle the layers of self-doubt and the harmful words we repeat, replacing them with fierce encouragement, unwavering belief, and the permission to claim our whole selves.

Through portraiture and conversation, we create space to honor resilience, acknowledge grief, and remind us that our stories matter.
